New and Used Trailer Loans
   We apply the same loan rates to both new and used trailers.  Northland will finance the following types of trailers: travel trailers, boat and other RV trailers, horse trailers, and other non-business trailers.  We do not finance custom-made trailers and trailers which cannot be found in the NADA guide books. 
   Northland finances new trailers up to their MSRP (retail) prices. You can obtain the MSRP and invoice cost of any new trailer
for free by calling or talking to a Northland loan officer. Used trailers are financed up to 100% of the NADA average retail price – which you can easily calculate by going to the NADA Guides website. 
   If you're buying from a private party click here.  If you're buying from a dealer you will want read this:

  • Your trailer dealer has probably worked with a credit union before.  Tell him up front that you want to finance through Northland Credit Union and make your best deal with the dealer.
  • Obtain a purchase agreement from the dealer and make sure the credit union gets a copy. The dealer can fax a copy to the Northland at (509) 466-9466.
